Stocks Deposit

Physical Scrip

Client is required in person to deposit the physical stock, which is signed by the transferor at the back of the physical stock or the Form of Transfer, at our head office or branch. For security reason, mailing of stocks by client is not accepted. Our company does not charge on physical scrip deposit, but HK Government will charge HKD 5.00 per scrip or transfer form (in name of client) for physical scrip deposit.

Having sold the physical deposited stock, client need to wait 10 working days (starting from the day of stock deposit to HKSCC) for withdraw the selling amount. Our company will also consider individual client situation.

Settlement Instruction

Customers can deposit non-physical stocks through the Central Clearing House. There are two ways to deposit non-physical stocks, namely settlement instructions (SI) and investor settlement instructions (ISI).

– The counterparty of the settlement instruction (SI) is a bank or securities house
– The counterparty of the Investor Settlement Instruction (ISI) is the customer’s individual investor account at CCASS

Customers need to fill in and sign the company’s  , on the form, you need to indicate the recipient of stocks in the "Instruction Type" column and write down the name and number of the counterparty (settlement instruction), individual investor account number (investor settlement instruction), settlement date, stock number, Stock name and quantity. The company will not charge any fees for non-physical stock deposits. Clients are also required to pass relevant settlement instructions individually through the counterparty.

Settlement instructions received by the Company before 11 a.m. will be processed on the same day; instructions received after 11 a.m. will be processed on the next working day. After the customer submits the form, our company will contact the relevant securities firm, bank or customer to verify and confirm the instruction. If the instruction cannot be successfully confirmed, the relevant instruction will be postponed or cancelled.

Stock Withdrawal

Physical Scrip

Client should fill and sign the Securities Withdrawal Slip to withdraw physical scrip. Stock code, stock name, denomination and quantity should be stated clearly.

Handling charge for physical scrip withdrawal is HKD 5.00 per lot (minimum charge HKD 50 per stock). The process will be completed within 7 working days. Our company will notify client to collect the stock via phone.

Client must self-collect the physical stock at instructed place within one month. If client cannot pick up the physical stock in a particular period, our company will re-deposit the scrip into CCASS. Handling fee will be charged again when the client makes another physical scrip withdrawal instruction for the re-deposited stock.

Settlement Instruction

Customers can withdraw non-physical stocks through the Central Clearing House. There are two ways to withdraw stocks, namely settlement instructions (SI) and investor settlement instructions (ISI). The counterparty of a Settlement Instruction (SI) is a bank or securities house; while the counterparty of an Investor Settlement Instruction (ISI) is the customer's individual investor account in CCASS.

Customers need to fill in and sign , on the form, you need to choose to withdraw stocks and write down the name and number of the counterparty (settlement instruction), individual investor account number (investor settlement instruction), settlement date, stock number, stock name and quantity. The settlement instruction handling fee is HK$200 per stock. Clients are also required to pass relevant settlement instructions individually through the counterparty.

Instructions received by the Company at 11 a.m. will be processed on the same day; instructions received after 11 a.m. will be processed on the next working day. After the customer submits the form, our company will contact the relevant securities firm or customer to verify and confirm the instructions. If the instruction cannot be successfully confirmed, the relevant instruction will be postponed or cancelled.
