Account Opening - Individual Account

  2. Sign and attach relevant documents and mail to our company

By Post

According to the guidelines of the SFC, if the customer chooses to return the account opening form by post, in order to verify the customer's identity, please arrange one of the following methods:

1. Arrange verifier/witness

*Sign on the account opening form and copy of the customer's ID card/passport, and provide their name, title and company name.

*The certifier/witness must be the registrant, a justice of the peace or a professional, such as a bank branch manager, certified public accountant, lawyer or notary.

or

2. Send the completed and signed account opening form and other required documents back to our company together with a signed cheque with the customer’s bank account name printed on it. The details of the check are as follows:

  • be drawn on your Hong Kong dollar bank account with a licensed bank in HK
  • show your account name which must be pre-printed on the cheque. This account name must be the same as your name on the Account Opening Forms, your identity document/passport
  • be made payable to "Luk Fook Securities (HK) Limited" / "Luk Fook Futures (HK) Limited " with an amount not less than HK$10,000
  • bear the same signature with the Account Opening Forms and
  • be encashed and cleared

*Online account opening does not support joint account opening, please click here to download forms. to download form.

*The company reserves the right to refuse account application and require customers to provide additional documents for approval of account opening.

Recent Phishing Scam Impersonating Other Brokers

This is a reminder that scam SMS messages are currently circulating, impersonating other Hong Kong brokers and falsely claiming that recipients must update their account information or risk account suspension. These messages contain links to fake websites designed to steal login credentials, leading to unauthorized account access and financial loss. 1. Do not click on links in suspicious SMS or emails.
