Be aware of phishing text messages

The SFC has reminded licensed corporations to alert clients about phishing mobile text messages containing embedded hyperlinks, which were purportedly sent by ‘brokers’. Our company would like to take this opportunity to remind you again to stay vigilant and follow these precautions to protect your account:

  1. Our company will not ask clients to provide sensitive personal information via hyperlinks, including login credentials and one-time passwords.
  2. Clients should not disclose their account login information to any unverified websites, even if they look genuine.
  3. Do not click on links in suspicious SMS messages or emails.
  4. Always confirm you are on our official website before entering any information.
  5. If in doubt, verify through our official website ( https://www.lff.com.hk/ ) or customer service hotline (852) 2980 0888 / 2980 0804.
  6. If you have disclosed your account login details to unverified websites or have found unauthorised transactions conducted over your account, please contact us as soon as possible and report the case to the police.
